Clear Channel Names Maynard SVP of Programming

NEW YORK— Clear Channel Media and Entertainment says Maynard will join the company as senior vice president of programming. He will report to Tom Poleman, president of national programming platforms, and Clay Hunnicutt, executive vice president and general manager for national programming platforms.

In this newly created position, Maynard will also work with select local stations.

He joins Clear Channel from Hubbard Radio in Seattle, where he served as operations manager and program director since 2007. Maynard had prior roles in Spokane and Omaha, as well as with Clear Channel in Eugene and Portland.

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment serves 150 markets through 840 owned radio stations, and the company's radio stations and content can be heard on AM/FM, HD digital radio, satellite radio, on the Internet at iHeartRadio.com and on the company's radio station websites, on the iHeartRadio mobile app, in enhanced auto dashes, on iPads and smartphones, and used via navigation systems.
