Clear Channel Promotes Leifer in South Florida
Miami - Feb 11, 2008 - Jim Leifer, CPBE, has been appointed to the new position of director of engineering/South Florida for Clear Channel. Leifer joins Clear Channel Miami from his position at Clear Channel West Palm Beach, where he has been based for the past eight years. Leifer will direct the Miami operation on a day-to-day basis from the Miami facility, and will have oversight for Palm Beach and Ft. Piece/Vero Beach included in his duties.
A broadcast engineer since 1981, he previously worked in Miami at stations WINZ and WZTA. He has also worked in the Tampa market.
