Orban Veteran Bill Fong Added to PC Product Support
Scottsdale, AZ - Sep 12, 2013 - Orban has added Bill Fong to Orban's PC Product Support Department. Fong's new role will be as PC products technical support specialist for the Optimod-PC 1101/1101e, OptiEXP, Opticodec-PC 1511e, and the entire line of Orban streaming products. He will remain as information technology manager and will continue to be based at Orban's Northern California Design Center in San Leandro, CA, in the San Francisco Bay area.
Fong is a 30-year Orban veteran, having been hired as receiving inspector in January 1984. During his years at Orban, he has progressed to hold the positions of document control specialist in the design department, IT administrator, and most recently information technology manager. He was responsible for moving the IT workings of the Northern California facility to its new location in 2006, and has worked in projects at Orban locations in Arizona and Arkansas.
