NTi Releases XL2 Projector 2.0
Schaan, Liechtenstein - Mar 15, 2012 - NTi Audio has updated the XL2 Projector software to its second generation. The update offers a new design, easier remote control and full file access to stored files on the instrument. The XL2 Projector allows the XL2 screen to be viewed on a PC.
The software connects to a PC via a USB cable. The XL2 can then be controlled with the PC mouse, which supports clicks and wheels actions. A major functional extension is the ability to switch the XL2 via the software between the mass storage mode and the normal remote control operation mode. Thus, a sound location can be measured and the data logged with control through the XL2 Projector. Thereafter the user may switch the instrument into the mass storage mode without physically touching the XL2, and transfer the logged data to the controlling PC for data post-processing.
The XL2 Projector software version 2.0 is available to all registered XL2 users and its download is free of charge.
