Noxon DAB Stick

Nettetal, Germany - Dec 2, 2011 - The Noxon DAB stick (which allows DAB reception on a PC) has a new feature: By pressing the Record button in the UI the device will record the current radio program. The recording is as an audio file in WAV format (stereo or 5.1 surround) stored on the computer, and it can be played with any media player. In addition, the DAB programs can be recorded in their native format.

The DAB stick fits into the USB port of the computer (notebook, netbook, PC, etc.). An installed software program accesses the device for use. The software was designed specifically for DAB reception in cooperation with Fraunhofer IIS.

Since the introduction of the USB stick in the summer of 2011, more than 50,000 units have sold throughout Germany.
