Unemployed? NAB Offers Discounted Rate for 2009 NAB Radio Show
Washington - Aug 25, 2009 - To help unemployed broadcasters, the National Association of Broadcasters is offering a special discounted registration rate for the 2009 NAB Radio Show. According to the NAB: "In an effort to bring the entire radio industry together...the NAB Radio Show has created a free agent discount registration rate for $179, which also includes a ticket to the Radio Luncheon. Radio broadcasters who are currently between jobs are encouraged to register at this discounted rate."
Conventions are a common outlet to network, especially between jobs. The free agent rate will provide access to conference sessions, networking events and the career fair. The free agent rate will be available online until Sept. 17, 2009.
