Sri Lanka DRM+ Trial Doubles as Technology Workshop
Digital Radio Mondiale describes a DRM+ trial and workshop recently held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, as a great success with more than 50 delegates attending.
According to a report from one of the workshop leaders, delegates present during the two-day trial operations were given the opportunity to participate in system setup and mobile coverage measurement runs. Subsequent workshop sessions focused on DRM+ system configuration and coverage data, as well as DRM 30 system configuration and performance.
DRM says the trial was the first of its kind in the Asia-Pacific region. A similar event is planned for 2011 in the UK.
