Solaris Mobile Launches EUR Radio
Dublin - Sep 9, 2011 - Ireland-based satellite service operator Solaris Mobile has launched EUR Radio, a pan-European digital satellite radio demonstration platform designed to serve the European Union region. EUR Radio will be used initially for marketing and demonstration purposes but could become the catalyst for a commercial service, providing listeners across the EU with an assortment of radio channels, both public and private, encompassing the majority of European languages. The demonstration platform also has the capacity to provide enhanced infotainment with in-car data services and will run as a complementary service to traditional national FM, DAB or S-Band services.
