NAB Launches NoPerformanceTax.org
Washington, DC - Apr 7, 2009 - The National Association of Broadcasters unveiled a new website, www.NoPerformanceTax.org, which will serve as the organization's newest advocacy tool in its efforts against enacting a performance fee music aired on terrestrial radio.
Among its resources, the website provides stations a portal to download, air and share radio spots opposing the performance fee, as well as an array of online banner ads for use on station websites and sample letters to members of Congress. The site also provides users with background information on the performance fee issue, video clips from Congressional hearings and Capitol Hill events, NAB news releases, and news media coverage of the performance fee issue.
Stations can request login rights to access materials in the Broadcaster Action Center. E-mail Maureen Walker.
