Hogan Moves to KJZZ
Phoenix - Feb 4, 2008 - Ralph Hogan, CPBE CBNT DRB, has taken a new job with KJZZ-FM as the director of engineering. Hogan was most recently the assistant general manager, engineering services for Washington State University's Northwest Public Radio and Television and Academic Media services in Pullman, WA.
Hogan is active with the Society of Broadcast Engineers and currently serves the society nationally as its treasurer and a member of the SBE Certification Committee. He is also a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, a senior member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers, the founding chairman of the Association of Public Radio Engineers, and education chairman of the IEEE Broadcast Technology Society. In 1986, while at KSLU-FM, he installed public radio's first touch-screen digitally controlled master control facility.
Hogan has more than 39 years in public broadcasting and received a BS in engineering science from the University of New Orleans.
