France's CSA: DAB+ Will Start June 2014
Paris - Dec 12, 2013 - June 20, 2014, will be the first day that digital radio broadcasters will be allowed to transmit in the areas of Marseille, Nice, and Paris. The start date was published six months in advance in accordance with the permits issued by the CSA in January 2013. The six-month period affords the permitted broadcasters and DAB+ multiplex operators time to conduct all the necessary testing needed to be ready for the turn-on date.
