Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union Digital Broadcasting Symposium Under Way
Kuala Lumpur - Mar 8, 2012 - The 2012 ABU Digital Broadcasting Symposium (Decision Time for Stakeholders) is underway. The opening session was an update on DRM developments and ITU recommendations on DRM+ and commercial receivers.
On March 7 a workshop was given on how to set up a complete DRM airchain from studio to transmitter. It was hosted by Alexander Zink of Fraunhofer and Albert Waal of RFModial. More than 60 participants were there. Many questions were asked and the DRMConsortium members present assured attendees that they are ready and willing to share information on the technology.
