APT Announces SIP Support on all Worldcast Codecs
Belfast - Apr 2008 - All APT IP audio codecs now fully support SIP and SDP protocols for maximum compatibility. SIP is a key element in ensuring interoperability between audio codecs from different manufacturers and enabling the negotiation of traffic across firewalls and external networks. With SIP and SDP on all Worldcast IP audio codecs and the Worldnet Oslo audio multiplexer, APT's product range is now fully compliant to the N/ACIP standard set out by the European Broadcast Union.
