AMBER Alerts Come to Facebook
Jan 13, 2011 - As Facebook continues to grow in use, users can be alerted of AMBER Alerts in their state. Working with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, an AMBER Alert Facebook page lists 57 Facebook pages (All U.S. states, DC, some commonwealths and provinces in Canada) that list current AMBER Alerts.
Facebook users can like the alert pages to receive the news feed on their pages. Previously, some law enforcement agencies would post AMBER Alerts on their own Facebook sites.
