New World Record for Talk Radio
New York, NY - Jun 3, 2009 - At approximately 4:15 p.m. on June 1, 2009, co-authors TJ Walker and Jess Todtfeld broke the Guinness World Record for the Most Radio Talk Show Interviews Within a 24-Hour Period, surpassing the previous record of 72 interviews. The team began at 6 a.m. on June 1 and worked 24 straight hours. By 6 a.m. on June 2, they had been interviewed on 112 different radio shows worldwide.
To beat the previous Guinness World Record, Todtfeld and Walker had to be interviewed for a minimum of five minutes on each show. Topics of discussion focused on how listeners could enhance their communication and speaking abilities for a number of situations from job interviews to wedding speeches.
FoxNews.com covered the event as well. Within the first four hours, they had appeared on 40 radio stations.Acceptable Use Policy blog comments powered by Disqus
