Hamburg, Germany - Jul 9, 2012 - Perhaps having learned a lesson from its U.S. counterparts, German broadcaster NDR is hosting information seminars for digital radio geared for electronics retailers. Topics of the seminars will include:

■ What programs are there?
■ How are the programs received?
■ What are the other DAB+ services?
■ What receiver features are new, and what they can do
■ Marketing for digital radio
■ Which device is right for your customer?
■ What marketing campaigns are planned?
■ What collaborations with manufacturers are planned?

Retailers will also be able to try the radios for themselves. The dates are as follows: Hanover, July 19; Hamburg, Aug. 1; Schwerin, Aug. 8; Kiel, Aug. 15. Participation is free, but registration is required.
