Nautel Schedules Winter Webinar Series
Hackett's Cove, NS - Nov 30, 2010 - Nautel Limited has announced a series of Winter Webinars covering a wide range of transmission topics. The first of the webinars was held Dec. 1. Sessions will continue through the winter and will end in March 2011, a few weeks prior to the 2011 NAB Show. The Dec. 1 topic covered automated multiple transmitters using N+1 systems. Upcoming topics include:
Dec. 15, 2010, noon EST
Nautel's asymmetrical sideband and HD PowerBoost webinar will describe the company's technology that allows stations to boost one sideband to the full -10dB HD Radio signal while keeping the other sideband at a more conservative -14dB injection level. Actual field trial data will be discussed.
Jan. 12, 2011, noon EST
This webinar will delve into the functions and capabilities of the AUI.
Jan. 26, 2011, noon EST
Attendees will learn an approach that makes the transmitter act like a node connected directly to the studio network. Various audio streams can be "pushed" to the transmitter for real-time broadcast or stored at the transmitter for playback later or for back-up storage in the event of an STL failure.
Feb. 9, 2011, noon EST
Join Nautel for an introduction to the VS Series and see live demonstrations of Orban Inside, IP audio input, automatic failover switching, USB playlists and Nautel's Advanced User Interface (AUI) for remote control and diagnostics. The webinar will also address the VS Series' capabilities as a replacement for an analog exciter in addition to its ability to operate as an HD Radio transmitter.

A live demonstration of the NV Series will be provided.
March 9, 2011, noon EST
Learn how SFNs can help address coverage issues. The current state of technology will be discussed as will deployment considerations for both digital and analog transmission.
