Nautel Shows Production Version of Orban Inside at 2010 NAB Show
Hackett's Cove, NS - Apr 27, 2010 - Nautel demonstrated a production version of an integrated Orban audio processor in the company's VS Series transmitters at the 2010 NAB Show. This "Orban Inside" technology, provided on a plug-in DSP card, will be an option for any VS Series transmitter. It incorporates many features of Orban's Optimod 5500 Series digital processor, five-band processor with dual-band window-gated AGC, and the latest dual-core DSP technology. Utilizing the Advanced User Interface (AUI), users have full control over processing functions. The integrated processor accommodates L+R, AES/EBU, Livewire, ShoutCast and USB player inputs.
