2009 NAB Radio Show Attendance: 2,507
Philadelphia - Sep 25, 2009 - The NAB Radio Show exhibit floor will come to a close today. Registered attendance was 2,507. This is only slightly fewer attendees than last year's show in Austin, which was 2,649.
"Given the challenging economic environment of the last year, we were extremely pleased to see such strong continued interest and participation in this year's NAB Radio Show," said NAB Executive Vice President Dennis Wharton. "The NAB Radio Show remains the preeminent gathering for radio professionals looking toward a successful future, and we look forward to reconvening next year in our nation's capital."
The buzz is already focusing on next year. The 2010 NAB Radio Show will be held in Washington, DC. There has been talk of no formal exhibitor floor, but rather table-top displays for 2010. Location and date still to be determined.
