NAB Opens Service to America Awards Call for Entries
Washington - Nov 20, 2008 - To recognize broadcasters' efforts to serve their local communities, the National Association of Broadcasters Educational Foundation hosts the Celebration of Service to America Awards. The ceremony will be held June 9, 2009, in Washington, DC. As part of the event, the NABEF will recognize radio and TV stations for their efforts in three categories:
The Service to America Community Awards for Radio and Television has replaced the Partnership and Friend in Need categories.
Entries are being sought for the awards, and will be accepted until Feb. 6, 2009. For more information and an entry form, visit www.nab.org/servicetoamerica.
