Lawo Completes, Occupies New Building
Rastatt, Germany - Jan 26, 2010 - On Jan, 13, 2010, Lawo opened its new building at its head office in Rastatt, Germany. Construction of the new building commenced in May 2009.
Following seven months of construction time, the production, mechanical engineering and warehouse departments took only three days to move. The product management and management departments will follow in the spring. The new facilities, directly adjoining the existing premises, doubles the ground floor in size from 3,500 m² to 7,000 m². The additional space is primarily designed to achieve greater manufacturing efficiencies, with a significant increase in capacity.
