Washington - Feb 9, 2012 - KUZZ-FM Bakersfield, CA, will be the third station to ever receive the NAB Crystal Heritage Award, which recognizes a radio station's long-term commitment to community service. The award will be presented during the NAB Show Radio Luncheon on April 17 in Las Vegas. The Crystal Heritage Award honors stations that have won a total of five Crystal Radio Awards, which recognize radio stations' year-round community service efforts. KUZZ-FM earned its first Crystal Radio Award in 1998.

The NAB is celebrating the Crystal Radio Awards 25th anniversary and will honor this year's 10 winners and 50 finalists at the NAB Show Radio Luncheon. A total of 250 Crystal Radio Awards have been awarded to 189 radio stations across the country since the awards were established in 1987.
