Keystone Demos RadioDNS on Android at IFA 2013
Hsinchu City, Taiwan - Sep 7, 2013 - KeyStone Semiconductor, a semiconductor developer of digital radio turn-key technology announced that the company has successfully embedded the RadioDNS feature in its mobile phone app.
RadioDNS is a technology that allows one platform to receive content via broadcast radio or over an IP connection. The linking of broadcast media with IP enables additional functionality on receivers, since RadioDNS includes RadioVIS, RadioEPG and RadioTAG, which enable users to explore visual information (text and graphics), to obtain program schedules, and to provide interaction and feedback to broadcasters.
A live demonstration of RadioDNS via BRW technology on Android platforms was shown at IFA from Sept. 6 - 11 by appointment. Further demonstrations will happen at KeyStone's suite at Renaissance Harbor View Hotel, Wan Chai, Hong Kong during the Hong Kong Electronics Fair from Oct. 13 - 16.
KeyStone is a WorldDMB, Bluetooth SIG and DRM Consortium member. Its DAB/DAB+ modules are certified by Apple MFi programs. Products employing KeyStone's DAB/DAB+ modules and BRW technology are available at the Apple Store.
