JVC intros KD-DB52EC1 DAB+ Receiver
JVC has introduced its newest DAB+ receiver, the KD-DB52EC1. It's a DAB/DAB+ receiver, so it will display additional data such as text, images, etc. as well as TMC, TPEG (Transport Information), EPG, messages and alerts. It displays the list of available DAB stations alphabetically. It also has the capability to read CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs along with MP3, AAC, WMA and WAV files via its front-panel USB port. It has two sets of analog inputs, a 24-bit D/A converter and three-band parametric EQ. It also includes an HS-IVi tuner with RDS, so it appears the unit also receives analog FM stations. Four 50W power amplifiers are built in. MSRP is $275.
