Quincy, IL - Jun 11, 2012 - Broadcast Electronics (BE) has appointed John Monahan as the sales manager for Asia Pacific. Monahan will manage BE's established, local representatives to specify and sell RF equipment, Audiovault studio automation, and the newly acquired Commotion social media, advertising, and listener interactive system. Monahan has had direct experience in radio for more than 15 years.

Monahan has been the project engineer and facilitated the development of new studio and transmission facilities for a major radio group. He also has a broad knowledge of RF products through hispast experience in developing training and consulting programs for radio.

Monahan will report to Tom Beck, BE director,sales and RF product management.
