Entercom Portland Stations Launch on Flytunes
Portland, OR - Aug 20, 2008 - Entercom has partnered with Flytunes to deliver streams of its Portland radio stations to mobile phone users. Users of the Apple Iphone and Ipod Touch will be able to listen to streams of KGON 92.3 FM, KWJJ 99.5 FM, KNRK 94.7 FM and KNRK 94/7 Too (a multicast version of 94.7 FM featuring Northwest bands only). By the end of August, Flytunes will expand to include all of Entercom Portland's stations, adding KRSK 105.1, KYCH 97.1 FM, and KFXX 1080 AM. The service will also be configured for Blackberry and other mobile smart phone devices.
Using Flytunes is free. After registering at www.flytunes.fm, users can listen to stations by selecting them from the Flytunes Cities guide, or selecting by genre or artist. Currently more than 650 channels of content are available.
Service is available anywhere Apple Iphones work (currently on the AT&T Edge and 3G networks in 130 countries around the world). Service is also available to Ipod Touch users via Wi-fi.
