Tarren Point, NSW, Australia - Nov 28, 2011 - Hino Australia, a manufacturer a range of light, medium and heavy-duty trucks used across the building, landscaping and logistics industries, has become the first vehicle manufacturer in Australia to include DAB+ digital radio as standard equipment across its range of vehicles. All Hino 300, 500, and 700 series trucks manufactured from September 2011 onwards will feature the new Australian-designed, multimedia unit that includes DAB+ as factory fitted standard equipment.

BMW and Audi have announced DAB+ digital radio as an option in a range of vehicles but Hino is the first manufacturer to include it as standard.
