HD Radio is Standard for 2009 Volvo Cars
Irvine, CA - Nov 19, 2008 - Volvo will be the first automaker to offer HD Radio as standard equipment in all but one of its 2009 models. The XC60, available in March 2009 will also will have HD Radio as standard equipment.
Many Volvo are also equipment with Sirius Satellite Radio and include a 6-month subscription in the purchase price.
The Volvo S60 will not feature an HD Radio receiver as standard equipment. This model also excludes the Sirius radio and included subscription. Radio magazine is told that the current S60 is nearing the end of its product cycle, and a newer model S60 will be unveiled soon.
