Harman Professional Appoints TJ Smith General Manager, Signal Processing Business Unit
Salt Lake City, UT - Sep 3, 2013 - Harman Professional has appointed Timothy (TJ) Smith to lead its Signal Processing Business Unit. In this role Smith will oversee all aspects of the BSS Audio, DBX, Lexicon Professional and DigiTech brands. He will be based in the company's Sandy, UT, offices and report directly to John Fitzgerald, VP and general manager of Harman Professional, Signal Processor/Amplifier Business Units.
Smith joined Harman Professional in 2000 and has been appointed to increasingly senior positions, most recently serving as senior director, China operations where he was responsible for new product development, engineering and all general business activity for Harman Professional's China office.
Smith holds a bachelors degree in engineering from Oral Roberts University and an MBA from Indiana University, South Bend.
