New York - Apr 14, 2009 - Goom Radio, a newly founded New York-based online radio company, operates from the former Z100 studios in Jersey City. The company is led by Rob Williams, former president and market manager for Clear Channel New York, and Drew Hilles, chief sales officer, who led Dmarc Broadcasting through the acquisition by Google, where he served as a director for four years.

Goom Radio has secured funding to launch its offering and hire a dedicated sales team. It has appointed Joe Anastasi as account executive of the sales team. Anastasi joins the company from Google Audio. Prior to that, Anastasi worked for Dmarc Broadcasting.
