FEMA Releases 2012 Supplemental Guidance Report
Washington - Mar 21, 2012 - The Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) has released its 2012 Supplemental Guidance on Public Alert and Warning report. The document provides guidance on eligible public alert and warning activities and equipment standards for state, local, territory and tribal prospective grantees. The purpose of the document is to promote consistency in policy across Federal grant programs, and to ensure compatibility among Federally funded projects.
The report examines ways public warning groups can apply for federal grants to implement and update their warning systems. Download the report at this link.
