Washington - Sep 13, 2012 - FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai will speak at the Radio Show on Sept. 19 in Dallas. The session, cleverly titled "A Conversation with FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai" will be moderated by NAB Executive Vice President and General Counsel Jane Mago. The conversation will examine the key issues facing radio today. Pai will share his views on communications policy and the future of radio broadcasting.

Pai joined the FCC as commissioner in May 2012 and is focusing on creating a regulatory environment in which competition and innovation can flourish, for the benefit of American consumers. Between 2007 and 2011, Pai held several positions in the FCC's Office of General Counsel, including deputy general counsel. Prior to joining the FCC, he was a partner in the Communications Practice at Jenner and Block and associate general counsel at Verizon Communications. He also held positions in the United States Department of Justice's Antitrust Division and the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee.
