FCC Launches Website Beta
Washington - Apr 5, 2011 - The Federal Communications Commission has released a beta version of its planned new website. Accessible through a link from the home (as of today), the beta site certainly has a more attractive and modern look and feel.
The new site uses phrasing that's more consumer friendly, with terms such as "take action" and "get involved" being used rather than links to the ECFS and other services well known to FCC regulars.
The home page still lists recent FCC headlines, but there are significantly fewer links cluttering the space. This means more services will be buried deeper in menus and subsequent screens.
