Enco Supports BXF Standard
Southfield, MI - Mar 3, 2012 - The Enco Systems DAD (Digital Audio Delivery) system will support the Broadcast Exchange Format (BXF) standard as a means for sharing information with traffic and billing systems. Patrick J. Campion, Enco director - radio sales and product development, notes that with so many traffic and billing suites being BXF compliant, Enco decided it best to follow the same development path.
The BXF standard was developed by SMPTE members and vendor partners to allow separate systems within the same facility to communicate with one another. In this case, it would allow a station's traffic and billing system to send data to and receive data from its DAD network. Things such as start and kill dates, inventory availability, new carts, schedule and as-played data would be seamlessly shared between the two systems.
