Lyndonville, NY - Apr 28, 2011 - Digital Alert Systems has filed its Suppliers Declaration of Conformity (SDoC) for the DASDEC-II on the FEMA RKB website. An SDoC and test report have been simultaneously filed by Monroe Electronics, Digital Alert Systems' parent company, for the R189 One-Net, which is used by cable TV.

The SDoC filing and a copy of the company's IPAWS Conformity Assessment (CA) Program Test Report follows the successful completion of FEMA's Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) Conformity Assessment earlier this year.

According to the IPAWS CA Test Report, the process is designed to ensure that vendors who wish to provide hardware or software to meet FCC and FEMA requirements conform to a range of program requirements:

  • The Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards (OASIS) Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) Version 1.2
  • OASIS CAP v. 1.2 USA IPAWS Profile Version 1.0
  • CAP EAS Implementation Guide Version 1.02
  • FCC Title 47 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 11.
