San Antonio, TX - Dec 14, 2009 - Clear Channel Communications has named Tom Casey as chief financial officer and executive vice president. He assumes his new post on Jan. 1, 2010. Casey will oversee the company's financial activities and will report to Mark Mays, president and CEO. He assumes the position from Randall Mays, who will become vice chairman of Clear Channel.

Casey joins Clear Channel from Washington Mutual (WaMu), where he was executive vice president and CFO for six years. Prior to WaMu, Casey served as a vice president of GE and SVP and CFO of GE Financial. He started his career with Coopers and Lybrand.
