Triple J to Launch new DAB+ Channel Featuring Unsigned, Independent Artists
Sydney - Aug 29, 2011 - Triple J, a government-funded division of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, will launch a new service called Unearthed on Oct 5, 2011. The DAB+ system that will carry Unearthed is currently available in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane.
Even though DAB+ stations are exempt from the normal music quotas, the new station will feature music from unsigned or independent Australian musicians only.
