Trafficland Adds FDOT Camera Data
Fairfax, VA - May 20, 2009 - Trafficland, an aggregator of live traffic video, has reached agreements with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to integrate traffic video from five major markets across the state into the Trafficland national network of nearly 7,000 traffic cameras. Trafficland will install IP video equipment at FDOT operation centers in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Tampa and Orlando.
Live video from the FDOT cameras will be available to the public on Trafficland's website and through a range of proprietary services for media and public safety agencies. The addition of Florida cameras will extend Trafficland's national traffic camera network to more than 67 markets in the U.S.
