Tieline Adds Enhanced Apt-x to IP Codecs

Belfast, Northern Ireland, and Perth, Western Australia - Jan 30, 2010 - Tieline Technology has licensed the APTX Enhanced apt-X audio codec scheme for low-latency encoding/decoding for deployment in a new range of AoIP codecs scheduled to launch in early 2010. APTX now licenses its Enhanced Apt-x audio codec to almost every broadcast OEM equipment manufacturer providing hardware for audio-over-IP, including APT, AVT, Harris, Mandozzi, Mayah, MDO UK, Prodys, Pulsecom and others.
