Sennheiser Offers Web-based Frequency Finder
Old Lyme, CT - Oct 15, 2007 - Sennheiser has unveiled a frequency finder tool that interfaces with the FCC TV broadcast database. The Sennheiser Frequency Finder (www.sennheiserusa.com/frequencyfinder) is designed to help wireless mic users quickly retrieve information about unused TV station frequencies based on a city or zip code search.
While the interface provides a convenient method of locating spectrum that is not licensed for a TV station's transmission in a given location, it does not provide information about any other use of what could be perceived as available spectrum. For this reason, users should also contact the local Society of Broadcast Engineers Frequency Coordinator (sbe.org) to verify that a desired channel is actually available.
