Sales Call

Axia has delivered several Ethernet audio systems. These facilities include KOHM-FM, Lubbock, TX; the Pennsylvania State Senate; Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX; the University of Texas in Austin; and WSUM-FM, University of Madison, WI.

Telos has provided Zephyr Xstream ISDN codecs to several stations: CBS Radio KILT-FM, Houston, TX; Curtis Media Group, Raleigh, NC; Entertainment Digital Network, San Francisco, CA; and NBC Television, Universal City, CA.

Omnia One processors have been put into use at the following facilities: the University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan; WKNE-FM (Saga Communications), Keene, NH; KKYY-FM and KZSR-FM (Powell Broadcasting), Sioux City, IA; and WPRM-FM (Arso Radio), San Juan, PR.
Mississippi Public Broadcasting (MPB) is in the installation phase at all eight of its Class C FM stations to replace 25-year-old antennas with new Jampro model JHPC-HD high-power Penetrator antenna systems. The project was funded through a grant from the Digital Distribution Fund of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Jampro antennas are being installed at WMPN, Jackson; WMAH, Biloxi; WMAV, Oxford; WMAU, Bude; WMAO, Greenwood; WMAW, Meridian; WMAE, Booneville and WMAB at Mississippi State University in Starkville. Jampro, under a turn-key contract, will supply and install the antennas and six transmission lines using Jampro Proline rigid cables. The antennas will be mounted on MPB towers ranging from 500 to 1,500 feet and be installed one at a time using a traveling Jampro auxiliary antenna to remain on-air while replacements are made.
The Catholic Radio Association has named PTEK as its supplier of transmission equipment for its member stations. The Association serves as the trade association for Catholic Radio, providing member services, facilitating the sharing of knowledge and resources, and speaking with one voice for its members.
