WLDR 101.9 FM has signed on a Broadcast Electronics FM transmitter to deliver an HD Radio signal to northern Michigan. The station claims it is the first station to broadcast a digital signal in the region. WLDR began transmitting HD Radio with two multicast channels and Itunes tagging on Jan. 7, 2009, with a Broadcast Electronics FMI 1405 HD Radio transmitter into an ERI antenna system interleaving an eight-bay super powered Rototiller antenna with a six-bay antenna. The system is outputting the current HD Radio power specification, although both the ERI antenna system and BE transmitter are capable of operating at tenfold this power to meet a possible 10dB HD Radio power increase.

Utah Public Radio has installed a Jampro dual-input antenna to inaugurate HD Radio broadcasting for KUSU-FM, a non-commercial station owned by Utah State University. The six-bay Jampro JSHD with protective radomes was mounted on a tower on a ridge line northwest of Logan to maximize coverage of the Salt Lake and Cache Valleys.
Replacing a 28-year old analog antenna, the Jampro dual-input digital side-mount provided KUSU with isolated and separate inputs for analog and digital transmitters.
