Radio One Chooses Harris Again
Cincinnati - Sep 22, 2006 - Radio One, the seventh largest radio broadcasting company in the United States, has purchased Harris transmitters for its third round of HD Radio conversions. Radio One will install Harris transmitters at 17 FM stations and one AM station. As the exclusive provider to Radio One, Harris will supply the FM stations with Z Series transmitters, Flexstar HDI-100 importers, HDE-100 exporters and HDX-FM exciters for multicasting. The AM station will receive a DAX transmitter with a Dexstar exciter.
By the end of 2006 Radio One will have 35 station on the air with Harris transmitters.
