Dutch Broadcaster Upgrades to Apt-X
Belfast - Apr 29, 2002 - Omroep Brabant, one of the largest regional radio and television company in the Netherlands, has committed its entire network to APT's Enhanced Apt-X algorithm for studio-to-transmitter and studio-to-studio links. The Belfast-based company has incorporated the data compression algorithms into its transmission chain. The network had featured a combination of APT NLS and BCF codecs, but with the recent introduction of Enhance Apt-X, Omroep Brabant felt it was time to upgrade.
