"Nautel's NX transmitters are up to 90 percent efficient and have extensive built-in instrumentation, advanced linearization techniques and Web monitoring and control," says Kelly. More than 17MW of NX Series products have been installed around the world, and Nautel has continued to enhance NX functionality. "HD Radio Transmission in 2014" will be presented on Feb. 12. With about 30 percent of new cars in 2013 sporting HD Radio technology and almost 17 million HD Radio receivers sold to-date, many broadcasters are saying that the time for HD Radio is now. This webinar, with Chuck Kelly and Mike Woods, offers a quick refresher on the methods to get on air and an opportunity to discuss some of the finer points of asymmetrical sidebands, PAPR crest factor reduction, and STL requirements with Nautel's top HD Radio engineers. The estimated running time of this webinar is 30 minutes plus time for questions.
Newly added to the Webinar schedule is "VS Series: Low Power FM Transmitters That Just Keep Getting Better." This Webinar will be held Feb. 26. "Nautel's VS Series has changed the way broadcasters think about low power FM transmitters," said Kelly. "Not only are they economical, they incorporate ground-breaking innovations such as IP audio, built-in instrumentation, USB audio back-up, streaming input support, advanced control and even an option for Orban Inside. And we aren't done yet." Chuck Kelly and Scott Marchand, Nautel engineering project lead, will discuss the transmitters and their money-saving advantages.
