Nautel Announces Winter 2014 Webinar Schedule
Hackett's Cove, NS - Jan 8, 2014 - Nautel's educational programs return in 2014 with three free webinars. All webinars will begin at noon Eastern Time on their scheduled dates.
The first webinar, to be held Wednesday, Jan. 22, is titled "How to Save Money with Nautel's Type Certified VS300LPFM." Chuck Kelly, Nautel director of sales, says, "The VS offers built-in instrumentation, remote management and advanced capabilities that can save your LPFM or community station thousands of dollars." Christy White, Nautel LPFM specialist, will present a fast-paced, informative session complete with a live tour of the VS300LPFM. The webinar will run approximately 20 minutes plus time for questions.
On Wednesday, Feb. 5, Chuck Kelly and Wendell Lonergan, Nautel broadcast sales manager, will present "NX High Power AM for 25-2000 kW: Modern, Efficient Analog/Digital High Power." "Nautel's NX transmitters are up to 90 percent efficient, and have extensive built-in instrumentation, advanced linearization techniques and award-winning Web monitoring and control," says Kelly. More than 17MW of NX Series products have been installed around the world, and Nautel has continued to enhance NX functionality. Kelly and Lonergan will offer an introduction to the NX Series and discuss the latest enhancements to this proven design. The webinar will run about 30 minutes plus time for questions.
"HD Radio Transmission in 2014" will be presented on Wednesday, Feb. 12. With about 30 percent of new cars in 2013 sporting HD Radio and almost 17 million HD Radio receivers sold to-date, many broadcasters are saying that the time for HD Radio is now. This webinar, with Chuck Kelly and Mike Woods, offers a quick refresher on the methods to get on air and an opportunity to discuss some of the finer points of asymmetrical sidebands, PAPR crest factor reduction, and STL requirements with Nautel's top HD Radio engineers. The estimated running time of this webinar is 30 minutes plus time for questions.
