Nine New Vehicle Models Equipped with HD Radio Arrive at Dealerships

Columbia, MD - Jul 12, 2010 - Nine new models offering HD Radio as standard or as a factory-installed option have arrived at dealerships. The models include:

  • BMW 2011 5 Series - HD Radio is now a standard feature
  • Ford 2011 Super Duty, Mustang, Flex and Taurus - These are the first Ford models to include the digital upgrade as part of the available navigation package
  • Jaguar 2010 XJ model - HD Radio is standard
  • Hyundai 2011 Sonata - HD Radio is included on the Limited model with the premium audio system
  • Lincoln 2011 MKT and MKS models - These are the first 2011 Lincoln models to include HD Radio in the available navigation package

    To date, there are 12 automotive brands offering HD Radio-equipped models in dealerships, including BMW, Ford, Jaguar, Lincoln, Mercedes, MINI, Volvo, Hyundai, Scion, Land Rover, Volkswagen and Rolls Royce. Audi, Kia and Mercury will also launch new models that include HD Radio for the first time in 2010.
