Directed Electronics to Release HD Radio Receivers
Vista, CA - Oct 30, 2006 - Directed Electronics will supply HD Radio receivers to its retail customers starting in December 2006. The initial products will be the Directed HD Car Connect, which provides a method for existing car radios to receive HD Radio signals and the Directed HD Table Top, which features a multi-line display with two detachable ported speakers and an alarm clock.
Retail pricing is expected to be $249 for the HD Car Connect, and $299 for the HD Table Top radios. The products should be widely available at Directed retailers in the spring. Directed will also supply HD Car Connect and HD Table Top radios to HD Radio broadcasters across the country this winter, for on-air promotions.
