Broadcast Electronics Adds to Technical Services Team
Quincy, IL - Broadcast Electronics announced today two new additions to the BE technical services team. The announcement was made by Brent Whelan, director technical services.
Rick Voepel joins BE as repair supervisor and Doug Koehn joins BE as RF training manager, each with separate responsibilities for expanding BE's technical support services.
Voepel is responsible for expanding and implementing best practices to enhance the company's product repair and maintenance program. Koehn is responsible for developing BE's RF academy training program for the company's installed base of RF customers and contractors.
Voepel joins BE from Movius, formerly known as Glenayre. He has 23 years of high-tech experience in a variety of roles involving customer service management, field service and manufacturing.
Koehn has more than 10 years of experience in radio operations, and an additional 11 years' experience as a technical writer and lecturer with Harris. He is tasked with establishing a new BE RF training program similar to the company's successful training program for its studio line, the Audio Vault University.
