Montreal - Jun 5, 2012 - Miranda Technologies has entered into an agreement with Belden for Belden to purchase Miranda. The action was approved by Miranda's board of directors.

Belden has no plans for any changes to Miranda's existing operations, including the R&D and manufacturing operations located at Miranda's Montreal base. It is not expected that there will be any significant changes to employment levels. There is no significant product overlap between the two companies.

Miranda Technologies is a provider of hardware and software for television broadcast, cable, satellite and IPTV.
